REQUIREMENTS
-Grade 12. - National Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or relevant qualification NQF Level 6. - A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting will be an added advantage. - Valid driver’s license. - Computer literate (MS Word, PowerPoint & Excellent Excel skills). - Knowledge of the Solar Accounting System and PayDay System will be an added advantage. - Competent in interpretation, implementation and enforcement of relevant legislation and applicable policies. - Basic working knowledge of applicable Local Government legislation (e.g., MSA, MFMA and other as applicable). -Excellent communication, telephone etiquette & Interpersonal skills. -Excellent time management skills. -. -Skills & competencies associated with vocation: project management, conflict & stress management, empowerment, adaptability, leadership skills, negotiation skills, analytical thinking, presentation skills. - 03 to 05 years relevant experience in Finance / Expenditure / Pay Office within local government environment.
DUTIES
- Data capturing of all employees related to salaries. - Payments of all deductions. - Balancing of Payroll. - Handle all returns from Pension Funds, medical Aid, UIF, Tax, and etc. - Provide support to subordinates. - Perform any other related ad hoc tasks and duties as and when requested by management from time to time.
SALARY R 408 648.00 p.a – R 451 380.00 p.a ( Level 06 of a Grade 04 Local Authority)
Total package inclusive of all benefits: R 615 848.68 p.a
