REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12. - Technical Qualification in plumbing will be an added advantage. - Plumbing Trade test will be an added advantage. - Welding and fitting certificates will be an added advantage. - Valid C1 Driver’s license with PDP. - Computer Literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills. - Skills & Competencies associated with vocation: adaptability, communication, assertiveness/leadership skills, conflict & stress management, negotiation skills & problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of plan layout. - Hard working, self-motivated and self-disciplined person. - 2 - 3 years’ experience in general maintenance of pipes, fixtures and other plumbing tasks with a Water Board or Water Services Authority.
DUTIES
-Supervise and control the team’s daily productivity and tasks. - Schedule work orders for team. - Ensures the safety of the team. - Administrative duties and reporting on work orders completed to Foreman/Superintendent. - Responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of pipes, fixtures and other plumbing/water related infrastructure used for water distribution under supervision of the plumber. - Install, repair and maintain underground water piping systems. - Administration management related to functions associated with the post including reporting, signing of leave, etc. - Perform any other related Ad Hoc task and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.
SALARY : R 257 424.00 – R 294 048.00 p.a. (Level 08 of a Grade 04 Local Authority)
Total package inclusive of all benefits: R 414 100.88 p.a.
