REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12. - Computer literacy Certificate. – National Diploma in Administration or equivalent NQF qualification will be an added advantage. - Code 08 Driver’s License. - Computer Literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Excellent telephone etiquette, communication and interpersonal skills. - Skills and competencies associated with vocation: adaptability, communication, assertiveness/leadership skills, conflict and stress management, negotiation skills, problem solving skills, office management/diary management skills, strong administrative skills, writing and typing skills. - Attention to detail. - Knowledge and understanding of Municipal Engineering will be an added advantage. - 2-3 years’ experience in Local Government administration, Customer Care Office. - Experience within the administration of technical management support will be an added advantage.
DUTIES
- Handling of Engineering Services’ telephonic requests, complaints system, public enquiries and transferring of calls to relevant officials. - Handling queries pertaining to new connection fees and costs for water and sewer services. - Render administration support in access fees recovery process for Vehicle Accidents within the department. - Assist with facilitating Traffic fines payments within the department. - Assist with facilitating of third party (insurance) claims reports within the department. - Rendering of interview support. - Assist with compilation of forms, memo’s and documents submitted to other departments. - Assist with compiling of applications and quotations on new water and sewer connections. - Assist with compiling of Randwater Services provider letters. - Taking and keeping of internal records, meeting minutes and recordings. - Prioritise and co-ordinate work orders of all engineering sections in accordance to policy and procedures. - Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.
SALARY: R 274 380.00 p.a. – R 313 416.00 p.a. (Level 8 of a Grade 04 Local Authority)
Total package inclusive of all benefits: R 439 507.40 p.a
