REQUIREMENTS
-Grade 12 with Maths or Accounting as a subject. - Experience within Income section of a Finance Department will be an added advantage. - Previous experience working as a cashier in a similar pressurised environment (e.g. Bank) will serve as a strong recommendation. - Knowledge of Cash Drawer Programme will serve as an added advantage. - Computer Literate. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Must be able to work under pressure. - 01 Year experience as a cashier.
DUTIES
-Receive payments by cash, debit cards or credit cards and issue receipts. - Balancing daily revenue collected and compare it with the audit trail. - Complete bank deposit slips to bank revenue collected on a daily basis. - Open, close and lock the cash register. - Responsible for all money received and deposited to the bank. - Perform any other Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by supervisor from time to time. - Perform any other related ad hoc tasks as instructed by the Supervisor from time to time
SALARY: R240 288.00 p.a. (Level 09 of a Grade 4 Local Authority)
No other benefits or allowances will be payable.
