REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 10. – Grade 12 will be an added advantage. - Driver’s license code 10 & with PDP will be an added advantage. - Must be able to operate various hand, electrical and gas operated tools/equipment. – Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (must be bilingual). - Ability to follow & execute given instructions. - Good physical health, basic skills & know how of doing physical work. - Must be willing to perform overtime and standby duties. - A hard-working self-disciplined person – Two (02) years’ work experience within electrical environment in Local Government Authority.
DUTIES
-Providing comprehensive assistance to the Electrician and Special Worksman, which includes: - physical labour with various hand tools. - loading and off-loading of material and equipment. - Performing painting and grinding duties by using various electrical and gas operated tools. - Responsible for safekeeping of tools and equipment. - Accountability of cleanliness of the workspace, vehicles and tools. - Performing duties as per written and verbal instructions from supervisors. - Cleaning the working area including sub stations and electrical workshop. - Perform any other related Ad Hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time. Prefeence will be given to applicants residing within Midvaal.
SALARY: R 174 012.00 p.a. – R 193 644.00 p.a. (Level 12 of a Grade 04 Local Authority)
Total package inclusive of all benefits: R 312 707.84 p.a
