REQUIREMENTS

 

-Grade 12. - Computer literacy Certificate. - Valid Driver’s License (added advantage). - Computer literacy (MS Word, excel and PowerPoint). - Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. - Secretarial and administration skills. - Strong work ethic. - Adaptability, communication, assertiveness/leadership skills, conflict and stress management, negotiation skills, problem solving skills, office/diary management skills, strong administrative skills, writing and typing skills, attention to detail, strong understanding of the Traffic section. - 02 to 03 years relevant experience in administration within Local Government Authority or similar pressurized environment.

 

DUTIES

 

-Answering and screening all calls to the Traffic Chief and Chief Superintendent. -Typing of all necessary documentation. -Filing of admin work for Traffic Services to ensure that accurate archiving is sustained. -Organising of functions (formal or informal). -To ensure that the section administrative functions are in place for future reference and general smooth operation of the section. -Organising Chief Traffic and Chief Superintendent’s Diaries. -Monthly report writing. -Perform any other related ad hoc tasks and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time

   

SALARY          R 225 444.00 p.a – R 252 000.00 p.a ( Level 9 of a Grade 04 Local Authority)

                                                                                                                        Total package inclusive of all benefits: R 372 631.48 p.a
